Coldest Night of the Year 2020

Walk with us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 in the Coldest Night of the Year, a fantastically fun, family-friendly walking fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in St. Catharines and over 100 communities across Canada. This will be Start Me Up Niagara's seventh year participating in Coldest Night of the Year. You can help us by walking, volunteering, sponsoring or donating to help us achieve our 2020 fundraising goal of $150,000.

Out of the Cold 2019-20

Start Me Up Niagara resumes operating the Out of the Cold overnight shelter program for the Winter 2019–20 season on Nov 3rd, 2019. Out of the Cold offers a hot meal with the option of a bed for the night. The meal and bed are provided at separate locations and meal locations vary by day of the week. Out of the Cold 2018-19

Join us for the Grand Opening of our new Work Action Centre at 203 Church Street on Friday, October 27th from 2 to 4 p.m. Come see our new location, enhanced skill development facilities, business supports & artistic client retail space. Light Refreshments provided.

Outreach Centre

Open 365 days a year, our vibrant Outreach Centre offers daily drop-in offers hot coffee & refreshments, recreational activities, computer & WiFi access. Hot lunches are served on weekends and holidays.
