COVID-19 Update and Our Services and Programs as of November, 2020

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues across the world, it is essential that you know that our team of front-line workers continues to serve and protect all of our participants.

Despite the many challenges, Start Me Up continued working and has remained open through the pandemic. Start Me Up Niagara is also entering the next phase of its pandemic response as the city is preparing to further re-open businesses and services. As we advance, we will continue to examine how best to deliver the services and programs we offer the community.

To fully comply with the regional and provincial health safety guidelines, we have employed two hygiene monitors that ensure our staff and visitors' safety and that our facilities are protected.

To ensure everyone's well-being that uses our facilities, we have to place strict limits on the number of staff and participants in the building at any given time. This may result in a short queue before entering the building. Accordingly, we ask all visitors to be patient with staff as they screen and assist all participants. Also, we have strict hours when we close for staff lunch and sanitize and make everyone safe.

Everyone entering our buildings must undergo a pre-screening and will be required to wear face masks.

Thank you for your understanding, compassion and support of Start Me Up Niagara.
