The Coldest Night of the Year is a fun, family-friendly annual walk-a-thon that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in the Niagara Region. Our goal is that no one walks alone.
"Approximately 235,000 Canadians experience homelessness each year, and there are even more who are underhoused. Housing advocates say these figures may increase, due to economic instability during the coronavirus pandemic." The United Way, Canada.
Coldest Night of the Year is a fun, family-friendly walking fundraiser that raises money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in our community.
Walkers can opt for a 2km or 5km route to help raise much needed revenue for Start Me Up Niagara while experiencing a hint of the challenges faced by those dealing with the reality of homelessness.
